Utopian Ashes - Bobby Gillespie and Jehnny Beth (02.07.2021/ Third Man)

Bobby Gillespie (Lead singer of Primal Scream, former drummer of The Jesus and Mary Chain) and Jehnny Beth (Leadsinger of Savages) have paired up for this album that musically and lyrically takes you through various stages of a marriage going down the drain. It comes along with a country- and soul-sound, but also undoubtedly has some traces of the Artists' main genres and the contribution of Primal Scream is definitely hearable.

Hideaway - Wavves (16.07.2021/ Fat Possum)

The San Diego rock band released their seventh album so far, produced by Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio), who also co-wrote several songs and contributed on guitar or synth to others.

Staying true to their signature sound but adding a little twist this album might be their most innovative so far.

Spiral - DARKSIDE (23.07.2021/ Matador)

Eight years after their last album "Psychic" Nicolás Jaar and Dave Harrington alias DARKSIDE return with a new studio album!

Ambient sounds, catchy basslines, experimental guitar riffs and Nicolás Jar's soft voice are distinctive for the band and if that's what you were hoping for on their new record you won't be disappointed.

Harmonizer - Ty Segall ( 03.08.2021/ Drag City)

A surprising solo release after his 2019-album "Pig Man Lives: Volume 1". The 10-track lo-fi/psychedelic/garage rock album features contributions from the Freedom Band and Segall's wive Denée Segall, who co-wrote two songs and sings the lead on "Feel Good". For now it is only available digitally with a physical release following in October.
